This week marks the first anniversary of George Floyd’s murder by a police officer. I’m honoring this milestone with a mixture of hope for the future, acknowledgement that this work cannot wait, and a personal commitment to press forward.
We cannot “go slowly” or "Take time to think” when our neighbors are experiencing discrimination, mistreatment, and murder. We need change now.
